Kimo Wellness Foundation (KIMO) was legally registered by the ministry of devolution and planning under the Non Governmental organizations board on 6th November 2014 registration number; OP. 218/051/14-0296/9688.
It is a young brain child of a group of community volunteers with different professional background ranging from counselors and psychologists, social workers, addiction practitioners, teachers, public health workers and medics.
The members are either born in Kenya or have an interest in working with diverse communities in the country. The members embrace the 24- internationally accepted character strength through the VIA Survey. KIMO scope is international; the group aim at partnering with local and international likeminded individuals, groups and organizations towards alleviating human suffering.
KIMO main offices are located at Thika town in Kiambu County and an office in Kenol town Murang’a County. KIMO members hope to open branch offices in all her five counties of mandated operation which are Trans Nzoia, Embu, Murang’a, Kiambu and Nakuru in future.
